Joining Eastfield

Admission to the main school

Applications for a school place are made directly to the local authority in which you live. Admission to Eastfield is managed by Cambridgeshire Local Authority. In Cambridgeshire places are offered in Reception from the September following your child’s 4th birthday. To apply for a place or for further information about the process, please visit the Cambridgeshire County Council website  or call 0345 045 1370. A paper copy of their application form can be collected from the school office. In the event of over subscription, the process for determining priority for the allocation of places is also administrated by the Local Authority.
Admission to Eastfield Nursery

Children start Nursery in the term after they have had their third birthday. We like to know about our future pupils as soon as possible.  If you would like to visit please contact the school office for an appointment. Information on how to register for School and Nursery is available from the school office.  Please note that a place in our Nursery does not guarantee a place in school and an application for school should be made direct to Cambridgeshire County Council.

Children attend the Nursery for up to five morning or five afternoon sessions a week; or at the start of the week (Monday and Tuesday all day, Wednesday morning); or at the end of the week (Wednesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday all day).
